Global Reporting Initiative

Mike Wallace is the Director of Sustainability Reporting Framework for GRI. Working in Amsterdam with the core team of the Global Reporting Initiative, he was part of the European Commission’s ESG Disclosure workshop and was involved in the early stages of the creation of the International Integrated Reporting Committee (IIRC). Mike was responsible for exploring bringing GRI back to the US which involved meeting with various stakeholders in government, finance, and corporate sector. Mike recently returned to the US to set up GRI’s latest national presence – Focal Point USA. This is the fifth GRI Focal Point.

Adam Sulkowski is an Assistant Professor of Business Law and Sustainability at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, specializing in research and teaching of sustainable business, corporate social responsibility (CSR), triple bottom line reporting and corporate and environmental law. Professor Sulkowski pioneered the practice of charging MBA students to research and compile the first sustainability report by any university in the world to have achieved an A level of compliance with the preeminent global standard for CSR reporting, the GRI G3 standard.
