“Challenged Expedition”, is a special interest community-inspired person-centered tour, field trip, sightseeing, excursion, adventure, outdoor recreation, leisure, pleasure, active, healthy living and lifestyle event. Which is planned, organized and hosted annually on United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) World Tourism Day, September 27 free of charge. By the Accra Innovative and Collaborative Development NEST (Net Impact NEST).

In collaboration with Kra Travel (Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd), an indigenous Ghanaian private sector Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Destination and Events conceptualization, development, planning, management, organizing and promotion Social Enterprise (SE).

For Persons Living with Disabilities in Ghana. One of the most vulnerable, needy, deprived, marginalized, underprivileged and minority groups. Who are often taken for granted segment within communities and society. And regrettably, are predominantly confined to the periphery of economic, political, public, social, cultural, community, societal, family and developmental structures.

As part of their social, public, community and humanitarian responsibility, purpose, impact and values creation opportunities, services, support systems and interventions services, efforts, activities, experiences and programs for celebrating United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO's) World Tourism Day.

In support, contribution and/or complimentary to celebrating and promoting the Power of Tourism as a Force for Good (PTFG). And as well as Tourism for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Nine (9): Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Ten (10): Reduced Inequalities and Seventeen (17): Partnerships for the Goals).

This event is aimed to create and/or elevate national, social, public, grassroots, community and broad based education, information dissemination, communication, narratives, conversation, storytelling, awareness, sensitization and advocacy. About the humiliating, agonizing, pathetic and detrimental public and private infrastructure, transportation, mobility, spaces, places, facilities, amenities, information, events and services.

Particularly, tourist sites, attractions, locations, activities, experiences and services accessibility. Other serious diverse and intrinsically intertwined pervasive, emerging and systemic detrimental public, social, cultural, economic, developmental, political, human and minority rights difficulties, limitations, barriers and challenges. Which Persons Living with Disabilities in Ghana are grapple with in their daily lives.

To influence and serve as a catalyst for winning national, grassroots, public, social and community hearts and minds. In order to facilitate in leveraging transformational, radical and fundamental policies formulation and developmental paradigm shift. Towards government, ministries, departments and agencies, industry players, businesses, service providers, professionals, institutions, organizations and authorities. Policy or decision makers, leaders, influencers and other key stakeholders.

Assuming greater political, corporate, leadership, professional and personal capacity, efforts, mindsets, attitudes, mastery, passions, zeal, enthusiasm, commitments and responsibility. To design, construct and build. Conceptualize, develop, plan, organize, provide, amplify and make existing and new public infrastructure, transportation, places, spaces, amenities, facilities and services. And in particular, tourist sites, attractions, locations, activities, experiences and services within Ghana, disability friendly and accessible.

And as well as aggressively tackle and address other serious diverse and intrinsically intertwined pervasive, emerging and systemic detrimental public, social, cultural, economic, developmental, political, human and minority rights challenges, difficulties, limitation, barriers, risks and issues which Persons Living with Disabilities in Ghana grapple with in the daily lives.
